Social Transformation Explained

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave
me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes
and you clothed me, I was ill and you looked after me, I was in prison and you
came to visit me…I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these
brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” Jesus, Matthew 25

The bible is clear about the role we have as God’s people to practically provide for the poor, the widow, the orphan, the vulnerable and the marginalised in our communities. As a Church we feel it is important to respond to the immediate human needs, often seen in crisis moments, in our community as well as support individuals to recognise and understand the reasons that led to the crisis and hopefully empower and enable them through encouraging, equipping and resourcing to rebuild their lives and restore their self-worth.

For this reason we have developed a catalogue of different ministries providing both immediate practical help such as food parcels and toiletries and more equipping ministries such as the Money Course which offers budgeting help.

It is our desire that through providing support for individuals that they would encounter God in a life changing way.
